- What is special about my story? I underestimated the CPA exam and failed SEVEN times before I finally passed in 2010!
- In fact, as soon as I became a CPA I got a $15K jump in salary…just because I had 3 letters after my name!
- My personal experience of overcoming failure helped me identify a gap in the market, and in 2014, I launched CPA Exam Guide – mentoring students all around the world to help them pass the US CPA.

Failing my CPA exams 7 times and getting laid off!
My father, a successful CPA himself, guided me into the industry whilst also encouraging me to pursue entrepreneurial ventures from a young age.
As such, the CPA exam was the natural succession after graduating from college.
Fun Fact: My dad scored in the top 100 out of 68000 when he sat for the exam in 1984 and won what is called the Elijah Watt Sells Award.
