Girish Iyer, Managing Director of The Citco Group (2017-2023) has joined Apex Group as its Head of Strategic Initiatives.

Girish is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant with a remarkable work portfolio.
He is an experienced financial services professional with over 20 years of experience, primarily focused on securities operations, asset management, and custodial services.
In 2000, Girish began his career with National Securities Depository Limited as an Officer.
After a year, he joined HCL Perot Systems, as a Business Analyst.
In June 2002, Girish joined ING Vysya Bank (now Kotak Mahindra Bank) where he managed the Operations & business support Unit for 250+ core banking branches. After 2 and a half months, he made a switch to State Street Syntel Services as a Business Unit Head for Investor Services division.
In 2008, he joined 3i Infotech, a global IT company, as a Business Unit Head for Mutual Fund Transfer Agency.
From 2009 to 2014, Girish was the MD of Operations at BNY Mellon India, overseeing securities operations. Eventually, he went on to manage BNY Mellon’s global trade and settlements across all markets, managing teams in 14 cities around the world.
