New CFO appointed at EIH, Parent Group of Oberoi & Trident Hotels

• EIH (Parent Group of Oberoi & Trident Hotels) has appointed Vineet Kapur as its new CFO.
• His appointment will be effective from December 24, 2024. 
• This decision comes following recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee!

New appointment

Vineet Kapur brings with him an impressive 29 years of expertise in Finance and Accounts, having served in prominent organizations such as:

• Mahindra & Mahindra
• CRH Plc
• United Technologies Corporation
• Carrier India
• General Motors
• Deloitte

Currently, he serves as Group Finance Controller at CK Birla Group, a position he has held since June 2022.

Mr. Kapur is a Chartered Accountant, certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1997. Additionally, he holds an Executive MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), completed in 2014.

Transition

Vineet Kapur will succeed Kallol Kundu (who was with EIH for 6 years as a CFO), whose resignation as CFO took effect on September 26, 2024.

Kallol joined FIVE Holdings, Dubai as their CFO.
