- In July 2023 he was appointed as a Group Chief Information Officer at Aperam, a listed stainless-steel production company based in Luxembourg.
From Finance to Technology role
Manoj comes from a small city called Alwar in Rajasthan.
He pursued Chartered Accountancy after completing his graduation in Commerce.
In 1997, he qualified as a CA and joined a CA Firm named SS Kothari & Company as an Auditor.
Soon after, Manoj got an opportunity at Electrolux, a Swedish Multinational Fortune 500 company, in their accounts and finance department.
He was tasked with reconciling the financial statements between the legacy system and the new ERP system, J.D. Edwards, which became a turning point in his career.
Due to his combined business and technical knowledge, he was offered a position as a Functional Consultant at the corporate office in Delhi’s system department.
From there, he embarked on a successful journey of implementing JD Edwards and SAP systems for various companies in India and abroad, contributing to digital transformation.
He even spent over a year in France while working at Capgemini.
In 2009, Manoj joined HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited as the Head of SAP.
After 6 years of hard work, in 2015, he was promoted to Head of Information Technology at HPCL-Mittal Energy.
Moving to Luxembourg
In July 2023, Manoj was appointed as the Group Chief Information Officer at Aperam, a listed stainless-steel production company based in Luxembourg.
He has 24 years of experience as a finance and digital professional, with proficiency in,
- Supervising teams of highly capable professionals
- Setting timelines/KPIs for evaluation
- SAP, MES, Supply Chain Applications, Integration, and Enterprise Performance Management
