Deloitte to add hundreds of tech jobs in UK

Deloitte UK announced the launch of four new Technology Delivery Centres in Belfast, Cardiff, Manchester, to meet growing client demand for business and technology solutions.

  • Deloitte UK’s new Technology Delivery Centres are coming up in Belfast, Cardiff, Manchester, and Newcastle.
  • They are expected to create hundreds of new jobs over the next three years.
  • Projected to launch on 1st June 2025, these centres will focus on providing digital solution design, cloud engineering, and AI integration to clients.

There is a rising client demand for smarter business solutions and top-tier technology services in the UK.

How does Deloitte UK respond? By launching four cutting-edge Technology Delivery Centres in,

  • Belfast
  • Cardiff
  • Manchester
  • Newcastle

Belfast leads the way: 500 new jobs

The largest of the centres will be based in Belfast, expected to generate 500 new jobs.

The announcement was made in collaboration with Northern Ireland’s First Minister Michelle O’Neill and Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly.

Tech roles in focus

  • These new centres will bring together 750 of Deloitte’s existing technologists.
  • The teams will focus on app development, cloud engineering, AI integration, and systems like SAP to help UK businesses digitally transform.
  • Multi-year training programs will be offered to develop top-tier tech talent.
  • From veterans to career returners and those without formal tech backgrounds, Deloitte is welcoming diverse talent into the fold. As Richard Bray, Managing Partner for Regions, shared:

  • Supporting the UK’s goal to become a global technology leader,

  • Becoming the largest onshore tech capability in the UK.

  • Plans to double headcount to 1,500 over the next three years!
