- Dhruva Advisors, a Tier-1 boutique tax firm, is expanding its GCC footprint with a new Dubai office and a strategic push into Saudi Arabia.
- Founded in 2014 by Dinesh Kanabar (former Deputy CEO at KPMG and RSM), Dhruva entered the UAE in 2017, just as VAT was introduced.
- Led by Nimish Goel (ex-Tax Director at PwC), the Middle East team now includes 130+ professionals and 10+ Partners — making it one of the region’s largest specialised tax advisory firms.
Middle East expansion
In just seven years, Dhruva Advisors — a boutique, partner-led tax and regulatory firm — has become the go-to advisor for some of the Middle East’s most prominent businesses.
From VAT rollout to Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing, Dhruva has guided clients through some of the region’s most complex transitions.
Positioned as a serious challenger to the Big 4, Dhruva stands out for:
-
Deep technical tax expertise
-
High-touch, partner-led service
Now, building on this strong momentum, Dhruva is scaling up once again.
2017
- Launched UAE operations in 2017, when the country introduced VAT.
- Started with just one partner and a small team of 15-20 professionals
2018–2020
In the years that followed, Dhruva doubled down on VAT. By 2020, the firm had grown to two partners and a team of around 30–40 professionals. Word spread, clients came, and Dhruva began to earn a reputation for depth, precision, and partner-led service.
2021 – 2024
As the UAE introduced Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing regulations, Dhruva was ready.
Their practice took off, supporting businesses through these major shifts with clarity and confidence. The firm became known not just for implementation, but for strategy and foresight.
2025 – Beyond
Now, with over 130 professionals and 10+ partners, Dhruva is arguably the largest boutique tax advisory firm in the UAE.
And it’s not stopping there.
In 2025, Dhruva expanded into Saudi Arabia, with plans to grow across the GCC — proving that deep expertise and trusted relationships can go head-to-head with the biggest global players.
