Who is Apple’s new CFO?
Apple has announced Kevan Parekh, an Indian-origin executive, as its new CFO.
Parekh currently serves as Apple’s Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
His educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Leadership changes
This transition is a part of Apple’s long-term leadership strategy.
Parekh will succeed Luca Maestri, who is set to transition into a new role within Apple’s Corporate Services teams.
Effective date
Parekh will take on the role of CFO starting January 1, 2025.
A decade at Apple
Parekh began his journey at Apple by leading the financial support for the Product Marketing, Internet Sales and Services, and Engineering teams.
He has also headed finance for Apple’s Worldwide Sales, Retail, and Marketing divisions.
Parekh currently oversees FP&A, G&A and Benefits Finance, Investor Relations, and Market Research.
Over his 11 years with the company, there is no doubt that Parekh has played a key role in shaping Apple’s financial strategies.
