This role is responsible for leading the Global Financial Reporting for the South Asia cluster (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal).
The candidate is expected to have excellent stakeholder management and Business Partnering skills to work with Com-Ex LT and senior business stakeholders in markets (NFD and controllers).
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- A qualified Chartered Accountant or an equivalent Business Management degree in finance and accounts with solid experience in financial accounting
- The ability to lead large teams and influence senior and peer leadership.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and a proven record in leading change projects.
- Experience in global/regional process design and organizational transformation programs.
- The ability to simplify processes through clean-slate design thinking.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.
- The ability to cross the bar on Unilever stands of leadership
Preferred additional skills:
- Strong knowledge of Unilever Financial Accounting Policies, SCOA, and R2R-relevant GFCF controls
- SAP knowledge in financial accounting and R2R tools that are implemented in Unilever.
